About MeIn 1999 my friend Jane asked me to take a quilting class with her at the local community education department. Needless to say, she's still working on her second quilt and I became a professional long-arm quilter. I bought my Gammill machine in 2001 and cut back on my "real job." I left my job as an Accounts Receivable Manager about four years ago. This has allowed me to spend more time with my two girls. I always bring hand projects to doctor's offices, gymnastics, cheerleading, karate, etc. The one problem I've had is being prepared in advance. Most hand projects require tracing, fusing, cutting and the like. I often forget something essential like a needle or scissors. Thus the creation of "Grab 'n Go" kits. My kits provide all the supplies and materials required to make the project. You can buy a project at your local shop or online and be ready to go!
